Meta Ads for Travel

Demand you create, and intent you capture.

Meta is where travel is imagined before it is searched. That makes it the cheapest place to fill a funnel and the easiest place to fill it with people who will never travel. The difference is entirely in how the campaigns, forms and follow-up are built.

Qualified-lead signal returns to the top and reshapes who gets reached.

The problem this solves

The cheap lead trap

An instant form with three fields and a “Win a free trip” hook will produce a very low cost per lead and a sales team that stops answering the phone. Volume is easy on Meta. Qualification is the actual work.

  • Lead forms optimised for volume rather than intent, producing contacts who do not remember filling anything in
  • One broad campaign asked to do awareness, consideration and conversion simultaneously
  • Creative that sells a destination but never states a price band, duration or departure city
  • No retargeting layer, so every rupee buys a cold audience
  • WhatsApp conversations that start hours after the tap, when the traveller has moved on

What we actually do

The work, in specifics.

No retainer-shaped vagueness. These are the work blocks that run, and the order they usually run in.

01

Full-funnel campaign structure

Separate campaigns for cold demand building, warm consideration and high-intent capture, each with its own creative angle, offer and success metric. Budget moves between stages deliberately instead of collapsing into one number.

02

Lead forms designed to qualify

Higher-intent form types, screening questions that matter in travel — travel month, group size, departure city, budget band — and instant-form versus landing-page testing. Fewer, better leads is the explicit objective.

03

Click-to-WhatsApp campaigns

For many Indian travel businesses WhatsApp converts better than a form, because the conversation starts while interest is live. We build the campaign, the opening message templates and the routing so enquiries land with a human, fast.

04

Retargeting that respects the journey

Audiences segmented by destination viewed, package page depth, video completion, form abandonment and past enquiry. Someone who read your Bali itinerary twice should not see the same ad as someone who watched three seconds of a reel.

05

Creative testing with a hypothesis

A rolling test plan across hooks, formats and offers — itinerary carousels, price-anchored statics, UGC-style clips, destination video. Each test is written down before it runs so results mean something.

06

Conversions API and signal quality

Server-side events through Meta CAPI with deduplication and event-match-quality monitoring, plus offline conversions for enquiries that become bookings. The algorithm can only find more buyers if you tell it which leads were real.

What changes in the business

Outcomes

Lead quality becomes measurable

Once qualification status flows back from your CRM, cost per qualified lead becomes the number you optimise — and it usually tells a different story than cost per lead.

Faster first response

WhatsApp-first flows and instant routing shorten the gap between interest and conversation, which matters more in travel than almost any creative decision.

Compounding audience assets

Structured retargeting pools and first-party lists become an asset that lowers acquisition cost over time rather than resetting every month.

We describe what the work changes, not what it guarantees. Outcomes depend on your market, offer, budget, competition and sales process.

Questions

Meta Ads for Travel — common questions

Still deciding whether we’re a fit?

The audit is the cheapest way to find out. You get a specific read on your own funnel, and we get to show our thinking rather than describe it.

Are Meta leads always lower quality than Google leads?

Not inherently — they are earlier. Google captures people already looking; Meta interrupts people who were not. That difference shows up as a longer nurture cycle, which is manageable if your qualification and follow-up are built for it, and painful if they are not.

Should we use instant forms or send traffic to a landing page?

It depends on your offer and your sales capacity. Instant forms cost less per lead and qualify less; landing pages cost more and pre-qualify more. We usually test both against cost per qualified lead rather than assuming.

Can you run click-to-WhatsApp campaigns?

Yes, and for many travel businesses in India they are the strongest performing format. We set up the campaign, the entry message, the routing and the tracking so those conversations are attributable rather than invisible.

Do you produce the creative?

We produce the concepts, copy, hooks and layouts, and we work with your destination photography and video. Where you have no usable footage we will tell you what to shoot and in what order of priority.
